The eight-year-old company, founded by ex-Qualcomm engineers, specializes in liquid-cooling solutions for high-performance chips – a market rapidly growing due to the explosion of AI computing.
From Mobile Cooling to AI Systems
Froe’s original technology targeted fanless electronics, offering an alternative to traditional air-cooling. However, a key turning point came after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang suggested the company pivot towards liquid-cooling for AI chips two years ago. This proved prescient, as liquid-cooling has become essential for managing the heat generated by today’s most powerful AI processors. Frore now supports cooling systems for Nvidia, Qualcomm, and AMD chips.
