Netflix and Spotify have announced a strategic partnership to bring popular video podcasts to the streaming giant’s platform beginning in early 2026. This collaboration aims to expand the reach of both services, tapping into the growing demand for visual podcast content in genres like sports, culture, lifestyle, and true crime.
Expanding Podcast Reach
Spotify will distribute a curated selection of its top video podcasts through Netflix, including shows produced by Spotify Studios and The Ringer. Initial titles include The Bill Simmons Podcast, The Rewatchables, Dissect, Conspiracy Theories and Serial Killers, and others. This marks Spotify’s largest distribution effort outside its own ecosystem, giving creators access to Netflix’s global subscriber base.
