Today’s Strands grid leans hard into the olfactory. If you enjoy scenting your world with expensive candles or just smell things you’re good here. There is one weird word though. Hard to unscramble. Hard to guess. You need hints? Read on.

Still lost? Find any four-letter words floating in the grid. You don’t need theme words to trigger hints. Just need three words. I found these:
- DAWN
- LAWN
- SKIM
- MANE
- ROTE
- MOTE
- SMUG
- MOOD
- MINE
Using any combination of those unlocks the first hint. Then the second. The game gives away its secrets if you pry at the right corners.

Here are the thematic words hiding in plain sight. Find them all.
When every letter connects the board lights up. That is the goal. People used to think there were always eight answers. Turns out that number changes. Who knew.

It spans the board. Starts at the bottom rightish area. Look for an F five spaces over on the bottom row. Wind upward from there.
Hardest Puzzles Yet
Some topics just bite.
I hate dated slang. Maybe I am just out of touch. Did I ever say PHAT when it was cool? I don’t recall. But finding that word was brutal.
Marine biology was another nightmare. Thar she blows anyone? Unless you know whales inside out you are guessing.
BALEEN was the killer.
RIGHT was almost worse.
