Prime Perks
So you’re already paying Amazon for faster delivery. Or the videos. Doesn’t matter. Now there’s a new reason to keep that subscription alive. Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Early screenings.
Tom Holland returns. Obviously. This is the next MCU installment, following No Way Home. It arrives a year after The Fantastic Four: First Steps, but let’s stay focused on the web-slinger for a second.
July 29 is the date. Two days early. While the rest of the world waits for July 31, Prime members get in first. Tickets drop on specific dates, so sign up for alerts now. Don’t sleep on it.
Early access costs about the same as a regular movie ticket. Maybe slightly more for IMAX. We saw $30 a pop for Superman last year in NYC. Expect similar prices.
The Details
It’s four years later for Peter Parker. Zendaya is there. Sadie Sink joined too, as did Jon Bernthal. Mark Ruffalo is back as well. Destin Daniel Cretton directed. You probably remember him from Shang-Chi.
The cast is solid. The hype is real. But here is the catch.
You need that membership. Paid Prime. That is $15 a month or $139 a year. If you cancel just to see a movie early, you miss out. Unless you sign back up. Is it worth $139? For Spider-Man? Maybe. Maybe not.
Do what makes sense to you. Watch the news. Wait for the tickets. Or just go on day one. No pressure.
Who actually waits for day one anyway?
